(First poem ever!)

Once I saw a black cat
With gleaming green eyes
Its fur looked like
The night in disguise
Its eyes shone like stars
​That saw all the way to Mars
The cat followed my gaze
It set my eyes ablaze
That cat certainly
Was a mystery.
